Regarding search and...Great post on name selection. Regarding search and replace, a trick I used in my days as a word processing operator...when typing long or unusual names in a long document. I'd type for instance C** or K*&* as markers. Then with search and replace, I only had to type the long or unusual name once in the beginning, then once for the S&R. And like your example, you need to use markers that you know aren't going to be in the document elsewhere or you'll have a mess.
